Who needs Arizona Title 4 training?
Arizona's active owners, agents and managers need both Basic and Management training. An employer may also require Basic training for employees. State law does not require every employee to hold a Basic certificate, but DLLC strongly encourages training for people involved in alcohol sales or service.
Which Arizona Title 4 course should I take?
First choose On-Sale when alcohol is consumed on the licensed premises or Off-Sale when alcohol is sold to drink somewhere else. Then choose Basic for frontline work, or Basic plus Management if you are an active owner, agent, or manager. If your work covers both license privileges, confirm the course coverage with your employer or DLLC.
How long are CertReady's Arizona Title 4 courses?
Allow three hours for either CertReady Basic course and two hours for either Management course. Complete the matching Basic course before taking Management.
Does the Arizona Management bundle include Basic training?
Yes. Each Management bundle includes the matching Basic and Management courses.

Who is required to complete both Basic and Management training?
Arizona DLLC says owners, agents, and managers who are actively involved in day-to-day operations need a Basic Certificate of Completion plus a Management Certificate of Completion. Basic is the prerequisite for Management.
What is the difference between on-sale and off-sale training?
On-sale training focuses on alcohol consumed at the licensed business. Off-sale training focuses on sealed alcohol sold for consumption somewhere else. The correct course follows the license privileges and the work actually performed.
Are the Arizona courses available in Spanish?
The four CertReady Arizona curricula are built with English and Spanish lesson and assessment paths.
How long is an Arizona Title 4 certificate valid?
Arizona DLLC says approved Basic and Management Certificates of Completion are valid for three years from the completion date recorded on the certificate.
Can an employer plan Arizona training before enrollment opens?
Yes. Employers can identify which team members need Basic or Basic plus Management, then match each person to On-Sale or Off-Sale work.
